December 2009 Events

Past Events

In the month of June 2009:

• On the17th A free self healing evening took place where individuals gathered to look deeper into themselves and be guided to a place of comfort and warmth thanks to Cathy French, Energy Healer and Reiki Master.

In the month of July, 2009:

•  on the July 25th, 2009 Beth Mullin hosted a Singing Bowl Concert at the center that was such a success, we will be having it again this fall on Monday September 21st at 8:00pm.  Bring your own blanket, pillow and yoga mat if desired. 

In August, 2009 The Director, Massage Therapists, Raw Foods Specialist and Instructors of Move 2 Wellness participated in the SALEabration street fair in Ridgefield run by the Chamber of Commerce.

In the month of September, 2009 Move 2 Wellness decided to give back to the community. Here are some of the things we did:

• We created gifts baskets to auction for the Farmingville Elementary School PTA and the Ridgefield Playhouse Benefit evening.  
• We massaged the men & women working at the UPS facility on 9/11, 
• participated in the Founder's Hall women's health fair Thursday Sept.10th. 
• We Massage the golfers and supporters at the Ridgefeld Chamber of Commerce Golf tournament 9/23.  
• We are now members of the Ridgefield BNI and 
• will be donating items for the Boys & Girls Club Gala in November. 
• On the 21st Beth Mullin hosted a Singing Bowl Concert at the center which once again was a sell out success!
• On the13th Move to Wellness started offering a free meditation session on Sunday nights from 7:00-8:00 pm

In the month of October 2009:

• 5th from 7:30 - 9:30pm : Linda Lubin hosted a wonderful lecture on 2012, the Evolutionary Shift of Consciousness which is leading to 2012 part II being held in October and November... Go to "Linda Lubin" for details.
• October 18th, 1:00-4:00 pm & Tuesday, October 20th, 10:00-1:00 pm Natural Awakenings Magazine hosted their first ever Wellness Fair in Ridgefield. Vendors and wellness seekers alike shared time, knowledge and product.  Guests were attentive for Wellness Expert speakers talking about educational wellness tools.
• Monday, October 19, 7:30-9:30 pm Linda Lubin hosted 2012: Evolutonary Shift in Consciousness Part II here at M2W with great success discussing the Shift in greater depth. did you miss is? Don't forget to check it out on Tuesday November 10th 7:30-9:30 pm!
• Sunday, October 25, 2:00 pm-4:30 pm An Illuminations Experience took place with Dr.William O'Mara here at the center.  music, visions & talking circle left attendees wanting more and planning steps for the future of themselves and the east coast.
• Monday,I October 26, 7:30-8:30 pm, Linda Lubin Headed the Workshop on Finding the Calm within. Bringing peace through meditation and self reflection.

  In the month of November, 2009:

• Friday, November 6st  5:30 - 8:00pm Mirna Chinchilla, offered a free Art exibit for Locals.  Mirna is a Danbury Raveis Real Estate Agent was born in Honduras, and like to paint from her spirit. Her work has been inspired by the beauty of the colors that she grew up with in Honduras.  Recently, she discovered some childhood drawings of watercolors that resonate deeply with her current art work. These watercolors inspired and invigorated her by giving her a renewed sense of continuity.  Locals explored the mystery of how creation occurs.  She is now painting richly varied subjects exploring many patterns, textures and vibrant colors.  Once MIrna starts working on a piece, it is with a driven intention of creating drama and mystery.
