Colleen E. Olphie-Lippmann B.S., M.S.,
L.AC
Colleen E. Olphie-Lippmann’s interest
in helping others to heal came out of the desire to heal
herself. After years of chronic health
problems Colleen was directed to an acupuncturist for
help. Although
skeptical at the prospect of acupuncture helping to
relieve her pain, Colleen was pleasantly surprised that
not only did the treatments heal her pain, remove her
asthma and leave her completely healthy…it also
categorically changed her life. Within 6 months of her first
treatment, Colleen was paving her way to become an
acupuncturist.
Still needing to finish her Bachelors
Degree, Colleen aimed high and was accepted to Smith College
where she studied Medical Anthropology and Fine
Art. After
finishing at Smith, Colleen wanted to make sure that the
path to becoming an acupuncturist was indeed her
calling. With
nothing but a backpack she hopped a plane and landed in
Northern Spain where she spent 5 weeks walking 500 miles of
The Camino De Santiago, a spiritual pilgrimage that
solidified her life’s plan. Colleen obtained her Master’s of
Acupuncture at the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture and
has been in private practice for 5
years. Colleen
cannot believe that she gets to make a career out of
something she loves. “Acupuncture made me be the person I was
always meant to be and now I can help others to become what
they were meant to be too.”

Matthew
Wein

Matthew considers
himself a Taoist or perhaps a Buddhist, a Meta physicist most
accurately. He believes Quantum Physics is the scientific cusp
meeting the spiritual world where the gap is narrowing. It is
at this place where he sees our new paradigm for life and it is
here that the value of consciousness and awareness are found.
In order for the thinking mind to be aware of the present state
of the body and mind, it needs a focal point - the body and the
breath are used to occupy the mind's faculties of the immediate
present and the secondary track of thought through action. By
using simple stretching techniques combined with proper
breathing, the body on a simple physical plane is enlivened. He
further believes when the brain is functioning with proper
blood and oxygen, it administers proper chemicals, honing
attention and focus naturally. Matthew has studied ZaZen
practice of life meditation - Pacific Zen Group and completed
Yoga and Tai-Chi master training - Expert Rated training
certified.

Roberta Russell,
LMT, RPP
Roberta is a CT
Licensed Massage Therapist, a Registered Polarity
Therapist and Reiki practitioner. Since 1999, she’s
helped clients regain their natural balance, vitality and
clarity through intuitive touch and guidance. In addition
to her integrative bodywork approach to wellness, she is
passionate about assisting others in manifesting their
dreams of abundance. These coaching sessions utilize the
Law of Attraction and EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques)
to create a healthier body, financial prosperity, a
fulfilling career or relationship and ultimately a more
joy-filled life.
In 2007, she began
teaching EFT to groups as well as coaching individuals.
Her enthusiasm for teaching stems from helping others
realize their own power to heal themselves and transform
their lives. She believes that
dis-ease is caused by stress, beginning in the person’s
energy system and that anyone can re-create wellness,
given the right opportunity. With presence, guidance and
nurturing support, she seeks to create an environment for
healing, empowerment and
transformation.
Roberta has
resided in Ridgefield since 2004 after living many years
in Pound Ridge, NY. A lover of nature, she enjoys woodsy
walks and kayaking. “With humor, there

Whitney Christiano

Whitney has been a student
of yoga since 1997, studying at studios
all over the world and also alone in her
kitchen. Eventually her
interest became overpowering, causing her to leave our
country and culture to surround herself in the classical
yogic environment of the Sivananda Vedanta Ashram in the
Bahamas. There she followed the lifestyle principles
outlined in the ancient yogic texts and completed her
yoga teacher training at the 200 hour
level.
Currently she
teaches groups of adults, individual children, and people
suffering from chronic pain and illness. Whitney is also
a licensed Clinical Massage Therapist in the states of
Connecticut and New York. She genuinely enjoys giving
massage, as well as passing on the values to students of
her alma mater, the Connecticut Center for Massage
Therapy.
